Killarney Celtic U12 Girls qualify for All Ireland as boys even age League continues:
The Munster WFAI U12 Blitz took place in Rathkeale at the weekend with Killarney Celtic and Listowel Celtic representing Kerry.
With groups of 4 and one of 5 there were 4 places up for grabs in the All Ireland finals which will take place in the AUL on October 12th.
Killarney Celtic were in the 5 team group along with Carrick United, Ballymackey, Corbally and Ballingarry who went on to top the group.
Killarney Celtic went into the last games against unbeaten Ballingarry knowing that a win was the only way for them to take the second qualifying spot from Carrick. A 1-0 win was enough to move Celtic onto 9 points and so see them heading for Dublin later this month.
Listowel Celtic were a bit unlucky not to be joining them but they went out in a group won by Carragiline. Newcastlewest are the other Munster side through to the finals.
