11’s Round 3:

The Park’s attempts to move into the 4th Round of the National Cup and so one win away from the open round of the Last 32 came unstuck in cruel fashion, going down on penalties away to Aisling Annacotty. It finished 2-2 in normal time and 2-1 to the Limerick side from the spot kicks.

13’s Round 2:

Killorglin, Listowel Celtic and Kingdom Boys have joined The Park in the next round of the National Cup. Killorglin had a very good 5-0 win away to Tulla thanks to goals from Dylan O’Sullivan 2, Aaron McCarthy, Jonathan Kissane and Conor Standen.

Listowel Celtic had the same margin in their home win over Ennis Town. Neilus Mackessey top scored with 2 and there was one each from Darragh Goulding, Daniel Sheehan and Sheldon Neill.

Kingdom Boys proved too strong for Lifford in Tralee. Diarmuid O’Connor and Patrick Roche both got two for the winners with the other goals coming from Kevin Williams, Ryan O’Neill and Odhran Liston.

However the campaign is over for Killarney Athletic who went out to Fairview Rangers and Mastergeeha who went down to Mungret.

15’s Round 2:

Listowel Celtic are already into Round 3 and they have been joined by Killarney Athletic and Killarney Celtic. Athletic won the all Kerry battle travelling to Tralee and winning 2-1 at Kingdom Boys. Adam O’Shea and Dylan O’Sullivan were the scorers.

Killarney Celtic made hard work of getting past Shannonside at Celtic Park. The home side went 1-0 down before Evan Cronin equalised from the penalty spot. Hubert then put Celtic 2-1 up but the visitors equalised on the stroke of half time. The same two scorers got another one each in the second half before Shannonside pulled on e back late on but they couldn’t find the equlaiser.

Ballyhar were unlucky to lose out to Pallas United at Murt Scott Park despite goals from William Courtney and Jamie Lynch. 

The Park are a round ahead and will be delighted to move into Round 4 thanks to their 2-0 win over Fairview Rangers. James Duggan and Calvin Foley scored for The Park who are looking like a side capable of going a long way in this competition.

Moriarty’s Centra 11’s League:

In the 11’s League there were wins in Group 1 for Killorglin A and Killarney Athletic A while in Group 2 Killorglin B won at home while Killarney Celtic B won on the road. The Group 3 games were off. In Group 4 Asdee and Behy Rovers won at home while Iveragh United made the long trip to Killarney a successful one.

Daly’s Supervalu 13 Premier:

Killarney Celtic made it two from two with a win on the road, defeating Fenit 5-0 thanks to goals from Garry Mathews, Cian Gammell, Mark Harnett, Kasper Malinoski and Patrick Warren.

Ballyhar will be very happy with their opening game of this campaign as they defeated Park A 3-0. Donnacadh O’Sullivan hit 2 and Liam Brosnan the other goal.

Division 1:

Castleisland are setting the early pace and are now three from three as they proved too strong for Iveragh. David Hickey, Eddie Horan, Paul Walsh, Mark O’Donoghue and a hat trick from Padraig O’Connor gave Castleisland all three points.

Asdee had lost their opening two games so will be very happy to be off the mark as they help Camp, who had won their opening game, to a 3-3 draw. Jack Farrell 2 and Michael Scanlon scored for the visitors with Patrick Kelliher 2 and Fionnan Twomey on the mark for Asdee.

Division 2:

Listowel Celtic B visited the Park B as both sides opened their League campaign and it was the visitors who took the points on a 2-1 score-line. Cian McCarthy got both goals for the victors.

Killarney Celtic B had six points already on the board as they welcomed pointless Killarney Athletic B to Celtic Park. However every Athletic side played with pride in their jersey and they took the three points following a 1-0 win thanks to a Liam Curran goal.

Killarney Plaza 15’s Division 1:

Mastergeeha join Killarney Celtic B on six points after defeating the visitors 4-0.

Fenit took the points from their visit to Killorglin B. Cian O’Sullivan and Gavin McKenna were on the mark for Killorglin but Sean Higgins, Cian McGarry and David Egan each scored two to see Fenit take home the points.

16’s Premier:

Killarney Celtic were too strong for Killorglin in the mid week game played under lights at Celtic Park.  Liam Carey, Jordan Kiely, Michael Burns, Mathew Keane, John Fintan Daly, James Hussey and Donal Lyne all hit the net for The Hoops moving them onto 6 points.

The Park put their first three points of the season on the board thanks to a 7-1 win over Asdee. George Kennety 3, Shane Flaherty pen, Jessie O’Sullivan, Ger Dillon and Roman Loucher were The Park’s scorers.
