Kerry 15’s enjoy their trip into the West:
SSE 15’s National League: Galway 0-1 Kerry
The trip to Galway and a change of venue to East End Park did not bother the Kerry 15’s League of Ireland side as they returned home with all three points.
In a scoreless first half both defences were on top and the game was scoreless. Kerry finished the half the stronger with Rob Vassiu, Sean Kederski and Ronan Teehan troubling the Galway back four but neither side could force a first half break through.
Kerry keeper Aaron O’Sullivan made a good save early in the second half and it prompted a response from the Kingdom who got the only goal of the game. Sean Ryan crossed for Cian Brosnan whose header was parried by the Galway keeper. Brosnan reacted quickest and knocked the ball home to get the only goal of the game. Galway pushed hard but Kerry held out with O’Sullivan making two more good saves. Kerry are away to Waterford next Saturday and will be hoping for another successful road trip.
