Moriarty’s Centra 11’s:
In the Moriarty’s Centra 11’s Group 1 Killarney Celtic and Listowel Celtic were the winners over Park A and Killorglin. Killarney Celtic B and Inter Kenmare took the spoils in Group 2 from Park B and Killorglin B while Group 3 saw wins for Killarney Celtic C and Camp who got the better of Park C and Fenit.
John Murphy 12’s Cup:
Killarney Celtic A and Kingdom Boys A took the last two places in the John Murphy’s 12’s Cup. Celtic were 2-0 winners over Asdee while goals from Terrance Carmody and Nemanja Samardzic saw Kingdom Boys into the hat for the quarter finals as they overcame Killarney Celtic B 2-0.
Daly’s Supervalu 13 Premier:
Leaders Listowel Celtic will be the happiest of the team in the Premier even though they didn’t kick a ball. Their closest rivals Kingdom Boys, in second, and The Park in third shared the spoils in a 1 all draw. Kevin Williams was the Kingdom Boys scorers.
13 Division 1:
A Charlie O’Connor goal was enough to give Castleisland a 1-0 win over Camp. The Park B were 3-1 winners at home to Killarney Celtic C. David Couchman and Eoin Lynch were the goal scorers for The Park. Killarney Athletic A defeated Killarney Celtic B by the same score line thanks to goals from Finbarr Hickey, Rory O’Keeffe and Ciaran Compton. Eamon Murphy scored for Celtic.
O’Callaghan’s Coaches 14 Division 2:
Leaders Listowel Celtic B have now opened a five point gap on Killorglin B, but have played two games more, following this weekend’s win over Park B. Goals from Liam McCarthy, jack Boland, Conor Kennedy and two from Micheal Kirby gave Listowel Celtic B all three points.
Killarney Plaza 15’s Division 1:
The top of the table clash between Fenit and Listowel Celtic was won by the home side who now open a three point gap sat the top of the table, but with a game more played. Sean Higgins hit a hat trick, Christopher Murphy 2 and Bobby O’Regan and Ossie Clifford one each for Fenit in a 7-4 win.
Camp in 3rd and Fenit shared the points following a 2-2 draw. Sean O’Hara and Jason Griffin scored for Camp.
15’s Division 2:
Leaders The Park B will be delighted to have taken the three points from their game with 3rd placed Killarney Athletic B. Goals from Robbie Dinan and Rory Kelly saw The Park extended their lead in the Division as chasers Asdee and Killarney Celtic B drew 1 all. Killian Courtney was the Asdee scorer.
16’s Inter League:
Kerry managers Danny Diggins and Ken Robinson were minus a few players as they took the Kerry team to Cork for Day 1 of the 16’S Inter Committee.
The squad was also short a number of those originally named for various reasons and it included some of the 15’s.
Kerry performed well in both games but just couldn.t get that elusive goal. It finished 2-0 to North Tipperary.
The second game was a going much closer affair with Kerry going down 1-0 to Waterford despite a great performance. Following Limericks withdrawl Kerry will have only one game on that second day of competition, due to be held in Nenagh later this month.
The 13’s are in action this weekend and they will compete in the Munster competition.
