John Murphy 12 Cup semi-final place decided:
After the John Murphy 12 Cup ¼ final’s Inter Kenmare have booked their place in the last 4. They defeated Mastergeeha 4-2 thanks to goals from Darren Allman 2, Sean Treyvaud and Yago Cornellis. Adam Murphy and Eoin Kelly replied for the Kilbrean side.
Listowel Celtic A were too strong for Mastergeeha B and have gone through thanks to goals from Sean Mahony, Jack Enright, Cormac Dillon. Shane Horgan, Cian Horgan, Stefan Carrig and Oisin Healy.
Places in Last 8 for this weekends winners:
Tralee Dynamos were the first to book theirp place in the Last 8 thanks to a 3 win over Killarney Celtic B. Eoin O’Connell 2 and Brian O’Connor were on the mark for the hosts.
Killarney Athletic had goals from Alex Hennigan, Tom Benson, Donnacha Coffey 2 and Oisin O’Sullivan in their 5-2 win over MEK. Finn Kennelly got both for the Mid and East Kerry side.
There was only one goal in the game between Iveragh United and Killorglin B and it was Jack McGrath who socred it for the Killorglin B side.
Park C defeated Fenit 2-1 after extra time. The Tralee side went ahead 2 minutes into the second half when Jack Slattery’s shot was parried by the Fenit keeper only for Andrew Kerins to tap in the rebound.Fenit equlaised when keeper David Chute’s long ball was caught by the wind and just evaded the Park keeper, who did get his fingers to the ball but just could not direct it outside the post. Into extra time and it was the Tralee side the got the winner when Jack Slattery beat two defender and cannoned a left foot shot off the post and into the net to give The Park the win.
2 goals each from Cian O’Cinneide and Arron Hughes giave Dingle Bay Rovers a 4-0 win on the raod at Killarney Celtic C.
Camp Juniors defeated Killarney Athletic B with their goals coming from Tomas Sheehy, Cillian O’Neill, Kostas Kov and Seanie Murphy.
Killorglin and Park into John Joe Naughton 13’s Cup last 4:
Killorglin defeated Tralee Dynamos in mid-week and had Jack O’Sullivan, Adam Owens, Tom Whittleton, Cillian and Charlie Foley and Ryan Duggan on the score-sheet while not conceding anything.
The Park A were too strong for Ballyheigue and 9 different scorers who all got one each. The Park’s scorers were Colin Doody, Cianan Cooney, Adam Wharton, Messiah Chirwa, Sean O’Connell, Liam Carmody, Conor Kerins, David Feely and Danny Jeffers.
2 teams into Tom Hayse 14’s Shield semi-finals:
Killarney Athletic and Iveragh United are through to the Tom Hayse Shield semi-finals. Athletic were 4-2 winners away at Inter Kenmare. Aaron O’Sullivan scored 2 with Jamie Aleide and Eoghan Mulvanney getting the other goals. Corey Murphy and Daenis Koyun were on the mark for Inter.
Iveragh United’s goals came from Odhran O’Shea, Cillian O’Shea and Andrew Walsh in a 3-0 win over Killorglin B.
Healy Family 15’sCup semi-finalists:
Maurice O’Connell and Conor Greaney scored twice for Listowel Celtic as they defeated Camp Juniors 2-1 in the Healy Family Cup ¼ final.
Also through are Tralee Dynamos who defeated Killarney Celtic B after extra time. Mathew Fleming and Mohamed Raheen shared the goals in normal time to leave the score at 1all at full time. Dynamos showed their experience in extra time as they hit three without reply. Sean Horan, Basit Oyebanji and Junior Ankomah all scored to see the Tralee boys through.
Park D win in 15’s Shield:
The Park D are the first team into the HealY Family 15’s Shield quarter finals after a 5-0 win over Mastergeeha with Sean McGrath, John O’Connor 2, Cian Brosnan and Sean Kederski on the mark.
Listowel Celtic win in Tucker Kelly 16 Shield:
2 goals from Cian McGrath and one from David Quinnlan were enough to see Listowel Celtic progress at the expence of Fenit in the Tucker Kelly 16 Shield.
Iveragh United go joint top of JK 12 Pemier:
Iveragh United’s 4-1 win over Killorglin sees them join Killarney Celtic at the top of the JK Sports 12 Premier but they have played more games. Ben O’Donoghue, Ben Egan, Oisin Breen and Emmet Daly were on the mark for the South Kerry side.
Fenit win in Division 1:
2 goals from Alex McGrath and one from Gearoid O’Connor saw Fenit defeat Park B 3-1 in the JK Sports 12 Shield. Rodrigo Pinho replied for the Park.
Inter win in the 12 Girls:
Inter Kenmare moved to within 1 point of the 12 Girls Premier division leaders Listowel Celtic with a 3-1 win over Inter Kenmare.Tara Desmond, Grace Foley and Chloe Cremin scored for the Inter girls while their keeper Eabha O’Connor had an outstanding game to keep her side ahead.
Listowel Celtic girls make it 2 from 2 in the 14 Girls Premier:
In the Foundation Sports 14 Premier Listowel Celtic were 2-0 winners at home to Mastergeeha while Inter Kenmare got the points on a 3-0 score line over Killorglin.
Battle for 2nd continues in 15’s Premier:
Tralee Dynamos remain in second place in the Killarney Plaza 15 Premier despite Killarney Celtic taking the points in their game 3-0. They are 1 point ahead of The Park who went down to Killarney Athletic. Eoghan O’Sullivan hot 2 and Jack Cooper 1 in the Woodlawn side’s 3-1 win over thw Tralee side with John Carmody getting their goal.
Athletic into the lead in 16 Division 1:
In the Tralee Trophy World 16 Division 1 Killarney Athletic have moved into the lead in the Division after they got the points from Inter Kenmare on a 3-0 score line.They also have a game in hand.
