Iveragh United picked up where they left off in 2016 as they are now on 4 wins from 4 and top of the JK Sports 12 Premier. They were pushed all the way by the team in joint second place The Park with Ben O’Donoghue’s goal the only one in the game giving Iveragh a 1-0 win.
Killarney Celtic A closed the gap on the sides above them as they defeated Listowel Celtic A thanks to 2 goals from Kalvin O’Sullivan and Eoghain Crowley one each by Robbie Harnett and Robert Brooks.
Killorglin and Mastergeeha have to be happy with a share of the points following a 2-2 draw. Dara O’Connor got both for Killorglin with Alan O’Leary and Adam Murphy scored for the Kilbrean side.
Killarney Athletic make it 4 from 4 in Division 1:
Killarney Athletic are the team to beat in the 12’s Division 1 and so far no one has been able to do that. This weekend they were too strong for Park B. Alex Hennigan was unstoppable hitting 4 with Tom Healy, Neil O’Carroll, Ciaran Byrne and Tom Benson also hitting the net.

The West Kerry side will be delighted with the other result in the Division as two of their closest chasers MEK and Mastergeeha B drew 2 all.
Finn Kennelly put MEK ahead only for David O’Riordan and Mark O’Connor to hit the net for Mastergeeha B. Kennelly levelled matters when his cracking free kick from outside the box went into the net off the inside of the post.
