12’s Premier
Things get very tight at the top of the 12 Premier:
League leaders Inter Kenmare (12 points from 5 games) did not play and this allow the sides tied in second place to close the gap to a point as all three won. Killarney Celtic defeated Dingle Bay Rovers 7-2 and they also have games in hand on the sides around them. Dingle Bay’s goals came from Jack Sheehy and Cian McGearailt. Killarney Athletic were 5-0 winners at home to LB Rovers thanks to goals from Luke Doolan 3 and Szymon Jasiniki 2.
Tralee Dynamos are also onto 11 points thanks to their 4-1 home win over Killorglin for whom Araon Doyle scored. But an Adam Evans hat trick and one goal from Rory O’Halloran gave the Tralee side the three valuable points. The Park are only 1 point behind the three sides tied in second after a 3-0 win over Listowel Celtic.
Dynamos go second in 12’s Division 1
Goals from Calvin O’Sullivan and Oisin O’Connell gave Tralee Dynamos an important win in the JK Sports 12 Division 1 and it moves them into second place 2 behind Fenit. The Tralee side beat Killarney Athletic whose goal came from Luke Courtney in the first half.
Killarney Celtic B were too strong for Listowel Celtic B and had the game won at half time leading 5-0. Listowel Celtic to their credit battled hard in the second half. The Killarney Celtic goals came from Leon Bowler 2, Sean O’Mahony 2, Colm Janot, Mark Looney and Eoin Murphy.
Mastergeeha A won 4-1 away at Park B. Jack Casey, Matt Kennedy and Sean McAuliffee 2 were the Kilbrean side’s scorers.
Joint leader draw in 12 Division 2 North
At the start of play LB Rovers, Park C and Camp Juniors were all level at the top of the JK Sports 12 Division 2 North. The first two of these drew 0-0 in a tight game that could have gone either way so Park C and LB Rovers move onto 16 points.
Dingle Bay Rovers picked up 3 points with a 1-0 away win at Fenit. Michael O’Griffin got the all-important goal.
7 Up for Iveragh in 12 Division 2 South
Iveragh United maintain their perfect record in the 12 Division 2 South with their 7th win from 7 games. There goals came from Alex Kelly, Daithi Sugrue, David Kelly and Naoise O’Shea.
Killorghlin in thirsd place went down to Tralee Dynamos who will be happy to hit 5 goals in the second half following a scoreless first half for both sides. James Jones pulled one back for Killorglin.
Inter Kenmare also moved up the table with a 4-1 win over Killarney Celtic C. Inter did the damage in the first half hitting 3 with the goals coming from John O’Sullivan, Robbie Guest and Finn Murphy with O’Sullivan getting a second in the second half.
Killarney Athletic C will also be happy with their days work winning 5-1 at home to Mastergeeha. The Athletic goals came from Jake Nash 3, William Reguajo, Dara Moynihan and Jimmy Ryan. Ronan McCarthy replied for Mastergeeha.
6 from 6 for Castleisland in 13 Division 1
Castleisland 3-0 win over Camp Juniors sees them move onto 18 points from their 6 games in the Daly’s Supervalu 13’s Division 1 and they lead the Division by 2 points but also with a game in hand.
Park B up to second in 13 Division 2 North
The Park B are chasing their team mates on the C team in the Daly’s Supervalu 13’s Division 2 North and are now into second place. They beat Castleisland B 4-1 thanks to goals from Willaim Jackovi 2, Marwan Elassar and Marcus Connolly.
Leaders win but second place beaten in 14 Premier
In the JK Sports 14 Premier leaders Iveragh United were 2-0 winners at home to Inter Kenmare to move onto 16 point. Kieran O’Donnell and Oisin Breen got the Iveragh goals.
It got better for the South Kerry side as their nearest challengers The Park were beaten 3-2 at home by Mastergeeha. Eoin Kelly, Sean Doolan and Jack Fogarty got the goals for the visitors with Odhran Ferris and Mike Tansley replying for the home side.
Killarney Celtic closed the gap to the Park to two points and they have a game in hand as they won at home to Listowel Celtic. Evan Boyle scored twice for the North Kerry Celtic side. Killarney Celtic’s goals came from Kelvin O’Sullivan, Cathal O’Donoghue and Eoghan Crowley were on the mark for Killarney Celtic.
Dynamos go level at the top of the 14’s Division 1
In the one game played in the Quills 14’s Division 1 Tralee Dynamos win over neighbours Park B sees them go level with Killarney Athletic at the top of the table. Alex Hoare got 3 and Jake Hoare and Gearoid O’Shea one each.
Killarney Athletic the only winners in 14’s Division 2
Killarney Athletic closed the gap on the sides above them as they defeated LB Rovers 6-2. Darragh Fitzpatrick and Darragh Healy got the goals for the North Kerry side.
Mastergeeha B will be happy with their away point following a 1-1 draw at Killorglin B. Ryan Carey scored for the home side with Luke Daly getting the point for Mastergeeha B.
Listowel Celtic go joint top of 15 Division 2:
Listowel Celtic defeated the League leaders MEK in Fossa to go level with them at the top of the table. The goals came from Darragh Carey, Jack Carthy, Adam Segal and Sean Keane to give Celtic a very important win.
Leaders Camp come behind to win 6th game in 16 Premier
In the Tralee Trophy World 16 Premier leaders Camp Juniors had to come from behind to beat Tralee Dynamos. Danny Burke had put Dynamos ahead but Cian Wright levelled just before half time. Camp took over in the second half when Wright got his second which were added to be 2 from Cian Brosnan and one from John O’Connor.
Killarney Celtic were 2-0 winners at home to Killorlgin with the goals coming from Killian O’Sullivan and Daniel Okwute.
The Park won 5-2 at Murt Scott Park thanks to 2 from Rob Vassiu and one each from David O’Callaghan, Dan Fisher and Earnan Ferris. Harry Byrne and Peter Cosgrave replied for Ballyhar.
Rattoo remain unbeaten in 16’s Division 1
Rattoo Rovers made it 5 wins from 5 in the 16’S Division 1 thanks to goals from Darragh Quinlan 2, Gavin Parker, Ryan O’Leary and Ronan Walsh.
The Park started the day level with Rattoo but with a game more played and they remain level at the top thanks to a 3-2 win over Listowel Celtic. The Parks scorers were Cianan Cooney, Cian O’Neill and Cillian Murphy.
Killarney Athletic were 2-0 winners away at Killorglin B thanks to goals from Rossa Bellew and Aaron O’Sullivan. Mastergeeha won by the same score at home to Fenit thanks to goals from Brendan O’Leary and Michael McSweeney.
Goals Galore in 12 Girls Premier
There were plenty of goals in the 12 Girls Premier. Iveragh United just came out the right side of a 7 goal encounter against Camp Juniors.
Katie Foster got 3 and Keelin O’Shea the other goal for the South Kerry girls while Suvi O’Connor was unlucky not to get something for her side after also hit a hat-trick.
Inter Kenmare were too strong for MEK Kickers in Fossa and won thanks to goals from player of the match Sophie Ryan, Alice Granville, Martha O’Sullivan, Klaudia Merchal, Helena O’Donoghue and Phobe O’Shea.
The Killarney Celtic Green and Fenit was another cracker at Celtic Park with the home side just getting the win 3-2. Elisa Deady and Meah Carmody got the goals for Fenit to them 2-1 up at the break. But goals from Jessica Leggate, Kaysey O’Connor and Kate Forde, the Player of the Match, gave Celtic the come-from-behind win.
Killarney Celtic White were 3-0 winners over Killarney Athletic
Listowel make it 3 from 3 in 16 Girls Premier
Listowel Celtic’s 16’sgirls side were too strong for the Park who are in their first season in the League. Melanie Higgins, Aisling Kelly, Kelly Enright, Maura O’Keeffe and Aoife Horgan got goals for Listowel Celtic.
Fenit’s hard work on the training ground paid off with their first win in 4 games thanks to a 2-1 home win over Killarney Athletic. Katie Dwyer equalised for Fenit and Lily Nowak got the winner with ten minutes to go. But they also needed goalkeeper Muireann O’Brien to be in good form to ensure they took all the points.
