II’s National Cup:

Having come up from under 9’s last year it is great to see these 11’s players doing well, with three out of four teams going through to Round 3. Listowel Celtic were the unlucky one to lose out, going down 5-1 away to Neenagh. Listowel Celtic’s goal came from Niall Cummins.

But to the very positive news and The Park, Kingdom Boys along with Killarney Celtic are all into Round 3 and only two wins from making the Last 32.

The Park were the only one of the three teams away from home recording a 6-2 win over Ardcroney. Junior Bwyer, Padraig McCannon, Jimmy Walsh and two from Alfie Christie ensured the Park progress.

Kingdom Boys had goals from Addy Judpho and Cody Murphy in their 2-1 win over Limerick FC. Indeed great credit must go to Murphy whose late late penalty put Kingdom Boys into the next round. Keeping his composure to slot home the penalty was a great sign for the future from Cody.

Killarney Celtic had it a bit easier against Regional United winning 2-0 thanks to one from Michael Lenihan and an O.G.

13’s Round 1:

Killarney Athletic had a very good away win coming back from Holycross with a 5-2 win thanks to goals from Sean Buchannan 3, Blake Bolster and Michael Potts.  Kingdom Boys also progressed to the next round on the same score-line as they defeated Shannon Hibs 5-2 in Tralee. Rian O’Sullivan, Odhran Liston, Diarmuid O’Connor, Dillon Robinson and an og saw the Boys through.

Killorglin are also in the hat for the next round on a 2-0 score line over Old Mill.

But Killarney Celtic are out, going down 2-1 away to Charleville. Luke O’Donoghue was on the mark for Celtic but to no avail.

In Round 2 The Park are through but Ballyhar and Fenit are narrowly out going down to Neenagh (0-1) and Templemore (0-2) respectively.

15’s Round 1:

Listowel Celtic are into the second round thanks to a 5-0 win over Regional but Killorglin were caught by a breakaway goal 4 minutes from time to lose 1-0 at home to Shannonside.

In Round 2 The Park certainly brought their shooting boots hitting 7, but conceded 4 as they got past Kilmallock. A hat trick by the red hot James Duggan was added to by goals from Calvin Foley and Chris Leen.

Mastergeeha were desperately unlucky to lose out 3-2 on penalties at home to Fairview after the game finished 0-0 in normal time while Aisling Annacotty were to strong for Fenit.

16’s Round 2:

In the all Kerry clash played mid-week Killarney Celtic had too much in hand against Ballyhar and had Kian Hussey, Michael Kiernan, Michael Burns, John Fintan Daly and Liam Carey all on the score sheet.

League Results / Reports:

The new style non-competitive 11’s League, played as a 9 a side competition is proving very popular and a number of games were played in mid week and at the weekend.

In Group 1 there were wins for Killarney Celtic A and Kingdom Boys A over Park A and Listowel Celtic A.  Group 2 saw Killarney Celtic B winning against Park B while in Group 3 Fenit just got the better of Camp. Group 4 had wins for Park C, Iveragh United, St Bernards. The Park C were in action again the weekend but this time had to settle for a draw in an 8 goal thriller with Asdee.

Daly’s Supervalu 13 Premier:

Gerry Clancy had a day to remember scoring his first ever goal for Listowel Celtic which was added to by Dan Goulding in their 2-0 win over Mastergeeha.

13 Div 1:

Goals from Jack Landers, Stephen O’Connor and 2 from Killian O’Connor were enough for Asdee to beat Iveragh United.

Eoin Griffin and Aaron O’Brien scored for Castlemaine at home but two from Ben Cooney and one each from Evan O’Brien and Danny Hickey saw visitors Castleisland win 4-2.

13 Div 2:

The battle of the Celtic’s was one by the visitors as Killarney travelled to Listowel and took the points on a 3-0 score line thanks to two from Dillon Lee Fitzgerald and one from Nick Moynihan.

Killarney Plaza 15 Premier:

Castleisland recovered for a tough beating against The Park mid week to run Killarney Celtic very close. Mikey Moynihan had put Celtic 1-0 up before Castleisland equalised. However it was Con McCarthy who won it for the home side with a goal in the last 4 minutes.

Div 1:

Camp came to Woodlawn to face Killarney Athletic B and won on a 6-2 score line thanks to goals from Jack O’Connor, Brandon Boyle, Jack Nix, Tim Moriarty and Maurice Coffey 2.

Ballyhar also won on the road defeating Park B 5-0 thanks to goals from John McMahon, Eddie Rourke and Dan Sullivan while Killarney Celtic B were too good for Kilorglin B.
