Summer competitions in full flow over the full week:
There was action on all five mid-week nights as the KSBGL Summer Competitions are in full swing. Looking at those mid-week games in the u2 Girls Camp Juniors saw off Inter Kenmare with goals from Aisling Horan 2 and Allanah Griffin. Ella Healy replied for Inter Kenmare.
In the same competition MEK Galaxy went down 3-1 at home to Listowel Celtic despite a goal from Zoe Daly and very good performances from goal keeper Eilis Tangney and Izzy Lyons and Anna Allen in midfield. For Listowel Celtic Sinead Lyons got 2 and Eodain Larkin they third.
In the 11’s Boys Ballyhar Navy just got the better of Castleisland . And staying with the Boys in the 16’s Cup Killorglin defeated Killarney Athletic in Woodlawn. Goals from Dara O’Connor, John Touhy, Tony Duffy and Stevie Gannon gave Killorglin the win while Mathew Moynihan and Michadi Lynch replied for Athletic.
The Park B had goals from Ryan Carey, Ruairi Farrell, Togor Silong, Venis Jahiri, Joe O’Neill and Rodrigo Pinho gave the Tralee side the win.
Listowel Celtic won at Fenit with Evan Boyle getting 3 and Eoghan Dowling 2 while Alex McGrath 2 and Billy Walsh got the Fenit goals.
Inter Kenmare had goals from Sean Treyvaud 2 and Dara O’Sullivan in their win over Killarney Athletic B whose goal came from Evan O’Neill.
Luke O’Neill scored early for Killarney Celtic as they held on to win 1-0 away to Tralee Dynamos.
Weekend action with over 50 games played.

Two cracking 11’s Girls Blitzes highlight of busy girls weekend:
In the 11’s Girls there were two excellent Blitz’s hosted at Woodlawn by Killarney Athletic and at Celtic Park by Killarney Celtic.
In the Athletic Blitz the host side had 3 teams as did Fenit with Castleisland bringing two teams. At Celtic the home side had 3 teams with Camp Juniors, Inter Kenmare, MEK Galaxy, LB Rovers and Mastergeeha all attending.
In the Boys there was full round of fixtures with 32 teams in action. Amongst the winning sides were Listowel Celtic A/B, Park A on penalties following a draw with Castleisland A , Park C and D, Mastergeeha A and D, Killorglin A and B, Killarney Celtic A, Inter Kenmare B and Ballyhar Blue and Navy.
13’s Girls: In the 13’s Girls goals from Alisha Deady 3, Riona McMorrell, Emma Gaynor and Siofra Murphy gave Fenit a home win over Castleisland.
Two goals from Ella O’Connor were enough to give Killarney Celtic White a 2-0 home win over Camp Juniors.
15’s Girls: A hat trick from Ciara Kennedy saw Dingle Bay Rovers take the win away to Fenit. Goalkeeper Ellie Hoare and Hayley Getkate impressed for Dingle Bay. Lana Gaudino got the goal for Fenit who also had Ciara Collins and Aislin Bell Chamber impressing.
There was a cracking game in Cahermoneen where Tralee Dynamos and their neighbours St Brendan’s Park drew 4-4. Dynamos were lightening out of the block and were soon 3-0. However the Park hit back and goals from Ben Heaphy, Michael Quirke and Saad Abul saw the lead wiped out. Dyamos then went back in front before Quirke popped up with his second to secure a 4-4 draw.
Killarney Athletic were too good for Killorglin. The Woodlawn side had goals from Szymon Jasinski, Even Doona, Bryan O’Connor, Cillian Coffey, Darragh O’Domoghue, JJ O’Donoghue and Liam O’Brien to secure their win.
In Group B of the Plate St Brendan’s Park B defeated Tralee Dynamos B 6-0 thanks to goals from Tuoyo King, Shane O’Donovan, Johnny Nellings, Jack Daly, Edison Jahiri and Dean Courtney.
Killorglin B and Mastergeeha B were tied at the break 2-2. Declan Field and Josh Spillane scored for Killorglin with Patrick O’Riordan and Donal Cotter replying for Mastergeeha. But it was Field with his second of the night that made sure the honours when to Killorglin B.
In Christy Leahy Park it finished St Brendan’s C 3-9 LB Rovers. Alex O’Carroll 3, Oran O’Sullivan, Liam Lynch and Charlie Ryan – all with 2 each got the Rovers goals.
In the Shield Inter Kenmare A were too strong for Ballyhar Dynamos A at Murt Scott Park. Goals from Rossa McGearailt, Caoileann Desmond and Michael Mahony gave the away side the win.
Mastergeeha A had goals from Thomas Myers 4, Rory O’Connor 2 and Brian O’Connor gave Mastergeeha A the win over Killarney Celtic in Kilbrean Park with Luca Mosca and Darragh Horan scoring for Celtic.
The Killarney Athletic B v Inter Kenmare B ended with a victory for the home side thanks to Killian Collins, David Courtney, Ryan Kissane 2, Ryan Twomey and David O’Donoghue.
St Brendan’s Park won away at Georgie O’Callaghan Park defeating the host with their goals coming from Marwan Elmahgoub, Sean Corkery, a Bruno Borowsky, Andy Kerins and Finn O’Neill.
Also in the Cup Killarney Athletic were 2-0 winners over Killorglin thanks to goals from Matthew Moynihan and Brian O’Shea with Kacper Robak impressing for the winners.
In the Shield Listowel Celtic won 2-1 at home to Killorglin B for whom Cian O’Brien got the goal. Joshua Madziak got both goals for Listowel Celtic.
Park B won at Murt Scott Park thanks to goals from Arek Jaszczynski, Marcus Connolly, Jakub Mikolojczuk, Darragh O’Shea and Callum O’Brien in a 7-2 win over Ballyhar Dyamos.
There was one game in the 16’s boys that ended after an eight goal thriller 4-4 between MEK Galaxy and Killarney Celtic B. Marc Murphy hit three for MEK with Dara Hogan getting the fourth. For Celtic Fionn Noctor 2, Luke Costello and Mahmoud al Saleh got the goal in a game that was tied 2-2 at the break.
The Kerry Schoolboys Girls League welcomes the appointment of Chelsea Noonan as the new Development officer for Kerry. She replaces Darren Aherne who is now the High Performance Coach for the Region. Chelsea is a former u17 and u19 Irish international and has coached with Cork City and Treaty United. She will take up here new position later this week.
