Reports:
There was semi- final places up for grabs in a number of the Cup competitions. In the 13’s Cup Inter Kenmare rounded off a great weekend with a penalty shoot- out win over Killarney Celtic to book their place in the last 4. The night before they had won the Kerry Community Games Finals and will represent the county in the finals.
In the Cup game it finished 2 all with Dillon O’Connor and Bokic Nikic scoring for Inter and Sean Doherty and Jack Hanrahan getting the goals for Killarney Celtic.
In the penalties Inter goalkeeper David Chuichi saved one from Celtic and Tom Murnane proved to be ice cool in netting the winner.
The final two places in the Tom Hayes semi- finals went to Castleisland and Kingdom Boys. Castleisland’s Eddie Horan hit 4 goals which were added to by goals from Ben Cooney and Kevin O’Mahoney in their 6-2 win.
Killarney Celtic B put up a decent battle against a very good Kingdom Boys side. Dillon Robinson, Rian O’Sullivan, Dan Goggin, Dara Lowth and Dara Divine scored for the Tralee boys. Ryan and Cian Casey and Padraig O’Leary got the goals for Celtic.
The 14 Girls Cup semi- final between Killarney Celtic A and Killarney Athletic was played in terrible conditions and credit must go to both sets of girls for trying to play through it. However referee Seamie O’Mahoney showed great common sense in not playing extra time as the sides were tied 0-0 after normal time. The game will be replayed next week.
The Park A booked their semi- final spot in the 15’s Cup after they defeated Mastergeeha 3-0 in Kilbrean Park. Fergal Ryan, Ferdia O’Brien and Andrew Philips got the goals for The Park.

Moriarty’s Centra 11’s:
There was action in all three Groups with Listowel Celtic and Killarney Celtic drawing in Group 1, Listowel Celtic B over the same opposition in Group 2 and Killarney Celtic C and Fenit, who were involved in a cracker against The Park.
JK Sports 12 Premier:
Listowel Celtic finished off their League campaign with a 4-0 win over Killarney Athletic. Darragh Mackessy scored a hat trick with Devon McKenna adding the fourth.
Daly’s Supervalu 13’s:
In the 13’s Premier Listowel Celtic remain unbeaten and are now 5 points clear at the summit after their latest win. Cillian Spillane, Jake Kelly and Conor Costello all hit a brace.
Division 1’s Killarney Athletic kept their hopes of finishing second alive after they took the three points from their must win game at Mastergeeha. 3rd placed Athletic are now on 18 points with 3 games left as they chase Mastergeeha (on 24 points) for the runners up spot behind Castleisland. Reece Hegarty and Finbarr Hickey both scored two with Liam Curran getting the other in a 5-1 win.
Killarney Celtic B rounded off their League with an exciting 3-2 win over Park B. Alan Murphy, Evan Jones, pen, and Oisin Bulger got Celtic’s goals but also had keeper Kian O’Shea to thank as he was in great form denying the Park on numerous occasions. David Couchman and Robin McCarthy did manage to beat him but it wasn’t enough.
Jack Farrell had a great day scoring all 4 goals in their 4-0 win at home to Killarney Celtic C.
O’Callaghan Coaches 14 Division 1:
Killarney Athletic B are now only one point behind leaders The Park as both now have one game left – against each other. Athletic made no mistake mid-week with a 6-2 win away to Fenit. Goals Liam Curran, Micheal Potts, Mark Fitzgerald and Ciaran Kennedy saw Athletic take the points to set up a winner takes all final game of the season.
Killarney Plaza 15 Division 1:
Joint top side Listowel Celtic suffered what could be an expensive defeat, going down to Inter Kenmare. They now face Fenit level on points in the last game of the campaign. Kevin Price and Darragh Siochru were the Inter hero’s as was keeper Simon Harrisson. Jack Healy got the goal for Listowel Celtic.
Camp added three points with a 2-0 result over Killorglin.
Killarney Celtic B’s 4-0 win moves them within a point of the leaders The Park as this Division is another one that will go down to the wire.
Diego, Javier, Mike Shannahan and Denis McCarthy were Celtic’s goal-scorers.
