Moriarty’s Centra 11’s Cup:

Cracking action for debutants:

The players in the Moriarty’s Centra 11’s Cup were having their first tasye of competitive action and there were some cracking Cup ties in this section. Camp Juniors A and Killarney Celtic C shared 6 goals in normal time. The home side went 2-0 before a penalty from Celtic’s Tom Cronin and a Sean Guerin strike levelled it up. Camp Juniors went in front again only for Robbie Harnett to score from a Dara O’Shea free kick. Into extra time and it was Camp Juniors who got the all-important goal and Celtic C were unable to come back for a fourth time.

Iveragh United’s goal from Odhran O’Shea cancelled out the Park B’s lead and with no other goal in normal or extra time the match went to penalties. The South Kerry boys were unerring from the spot and scored all of theirs to win 5-3. Alex Coffey, Odhran and Cathal O’Shea, Ronan Teehan and Sean Kennedy were the penalty scorers for Iveragh United.

Tralee Dynamos are also into the First Round proper after a 3-0 away win at Inter Kenmare. Adam Wharton scored twice and Donagh Stephenson the other in the win.

First Round:
