The Gaynor Cup’s are competitions organised by the Women’s Football Association of Ireland and previously were contested by Regional squads with Kerry girls playing with South Munster.
However now they have been redesigned as the equivalent of the Boys Kennedy Cup with Leagues entering teams.
For the first time the Kerry Schoolboys Girls League will enter teams into the 14’s and 16’s competition, both of which take place at the UL in Limerick.

The other two Group runners up and the best third placed team will go through to the Shield while the rest of the team will play off for positions from 9 to 18th.
Kerry will kick off their campaign on Saturday, June 2nd at 9.30am when the play Limerick Desmond. There second game will see then take on Innisowen with a 1pm kick off and they will finish a very busy day with a 5pm game against Sligo / Leitrim.
On Sunday Kerry will have two more games – firstly against Galway at 10.30am and will finish their Group games when they take on Wexford at 3pm.
Monday morning will see the semi finals and finals of both the Cup and Shield and the places play-offs.
