JK Sports 12:
In the Premier leaders Killorglin were not in action so the two teams closest to them had to make sure they didn’t slip up and they succeeded. Killarney Celtic moved to within a point of the leaders and still have a game in hand thanks to a 4-0 win at home to Kingdom Boys. Darragh Lyne led the way with a hat trick and Ryan Kelliher got the other one. Darragh Dennehy, who was man of the match, was carried off late in the game and onto hospital but hopefully his knee injury is not too serious.
The Park remain in third having moved onto 15 points, three behind Celtic and four off top spot, but they do have games in hand of those above them.
Killarney Celtic B and Mastergeeha are involved in a great battle in 12 Division 1. Celtic B were too strong for an understrength Ballyhar side and took the three points thanks to goals from Enna Coleman, Adam McMahon and Lorcan Martin who all got two each while David Cantillon, Ben Lyne and Adam Kissane scored once.
Mastergeeha won easily in the end at home to Park B but to be fair to the Tralee boys it was scoreless until half time. But then Paul O’Shea and Dylan Murphy went on scoring streaks and their 8 goals were added to by one each from Adam Kelly and Niall O’Connor.
Celtic lead the way on 21 points from 9 played while Mastergeeha are now on 19 from 8 games.
There was one 12 Girls game with Killarney Celtic A defeating Killarney Athletic 5-0.

In the 14 Premier Killarney Celtic remain three points behind Kingdom Boys at the top. Goals from Casper Malinowski, Jack Griffin, David Clifford, Gary Mathews, Cian Gammell and Oran O’Donoghue gave them the latest three points. Celtic had Mark Harnett in goal as their regular keeper was missing. Kingdom Boys had won in mid week when Dara Lowth was in unstoppable form hitting 4. Brian Kennedy and Dillon Robinson scored one each.
Second placed Killorglin B missed their chance to leap frog Killarney Celtic at the summit of Division 2 as they were held to a 2 all draw by Killarney Athletic B. Goals from Finbarr Hickey and Jason Coffey gave the Woodlawn side a much needed point while Mark O’Connor got both goals for Killorglin B.
They are now on 17 points from 7 games while Killarney Celtic lead the way on 19 points from their 7 games.
In the other game Asdee and the Park B were involved in a 9 goal thriller. Fionnan Twomey, Aaron Kelly, Ben and Calum McSweeney scored four for Asdee while Jack Lynch hit 3 and Ciaran Kiki Killeen and Ruairi Kelly got one each for the Park B as they ran out 5-4 winners.
There was one game in the 14 Girls Premier with Listowel Celtic maintaining their unbeaten record as they defeated Killarney Celtic B 2-0. Maggie Walsh hit both for Listowel Celtic while Ciara O’Brien, Shania Costello and Anna O’Reilly were the best for a Killarney Celtic side that pushed the League leaders all the way.
