11’s Cup Last 16:

Six of the eight places in the next round of the 11’s Cup are now taken after this series of games. Mastergeeha and Killarney Celtic A and Behy Rovers versus Killarney Celtic C are still to be played.

Through to the Last 8 are Killarney Celtic B who just managed to hold off a gallant Park B side that came back from 3-0 down at one stage. The game went to extra time and it was Celtic B who progressed by the odd goal in 11, winning 6-5.

The Park’s A team are into the next round after beating Camp B 6-0 but the Park C’s also went out going down 3-0 to Ballyhar.

Kingdom Boys and Listowel Celtic A will also be eagerly looking forward to the draw for the Last 8 as they both had 2-1 victories in this round. Kingdom Boys defeated Inter Kenmare while Listowel Celtic defeated Killarney Athletic A.

Camp A will join them as they had a home 4-2 win over Asdee.

13’s Cup ¼ Finals:

Killarney Celtic and Kingdom Boys are both undefeated in their League programmes to date so someone’s unbeaten record had to go as the two sides met in the 13’s Cup quarter final under lights at Celtic Park. The home side started the stronger and should have been ahead earlier than they were. Goals from Mark Harnett and Casper Malinowski did put Celtic in the driving seat before Dillon Robinson pulled one back for Kingdom Boys. However Harnett’s second wrapped up the scoring to send Celtic into the semi finals.

Camp travelled to Murt Scott Park and came away with a place in the Last 4. They just got past the home side 3-2. 2 from Jimmy O’Grady and one from Jack Farrell sees Camp progress while the goals from Ballyhar’s Donnacha O’Sullivan and Niall O’Donoghue weren’t enough to take the game to at least extra time.

Mastergeeha had to go to extra time to get past Killarney Athletic at Kilbrean Park. It was 1-1 at full time with Athletic’s Liam Curran and Mastergeeha’s Michael O’Mahony sharing goals. However in extra time the home side took over and go through thanks to goals from Naill McCarthy and James Nagle.

The final semi final place is between Killorglin and Listowel Celtic who are due to meet this week.

15’s Cup ¼ Finals:

Two of the four semi finals are now known with Killarney Athletic A and Park A awaiting the winners of Castlemaine and Killarney Celtic A and Killarney Celtic B at home to Listowel Celtic A in the semi finals.

Athletic were 5-1 winners over Mastergeeha in Kilbrean Park with Michael Casey getting 2 and Micheal Foley, Adam O’Shea and Brian Fitzgerald all getting one each.

The Park A were also on the road but came home happy from Fenit thanks to a 6-1 score-line. Padraig Griffin hit a hat trick and his namesake Colin also got in one the mark scoring once as did James Duggan and Murrough Connolly.
