Katie Doe and Fiana Bradley put Kerry 2—0 up at the break but credit to the visitors they got back into the game and got the winner late on. However Kerry will take a lot of positives from this performance. The Kerry 15’s Girls also went down to South Tipperary in their seeding game. Credit goes to the girls who were on duty on the day with some of them being called in late. Hopefully these can now stay together for the remaining two seeding games and the Gaynor Trophy section in June in UL. Killarney Celtic double handed disappointment in National Cup Last 32 Cherry Orchard from Dublin came to Celtic Park as favourites for the 14’s SFAI Cup having scored 21 goals and conceded none in their 4 games to date. And they proved too strong for a gallant Celtic side. The Killarney side have the consolation of a Regional semi-final game away to Shannon. The Killarney Celtic 15’s will also have to turn their attention to the Regional semi-final as they went out of the National Cup 3-1 to Wexford Albion. Peader Kelliher had put Celtic ahead but the visitors hit three without reply in the second half. Camp go top of the 12’s Division 2 North: Camp Juniors have jumped from third to first following their 4-2 away win at Dingle Bay Rovers. Robert Keane and Mikey O’Leary both scored two each for the winners with Aaron Folain and Cillian McNamara replying for Dingle Bay. Points shared by all 4 teams in Girls 12 Premier: Listowel Celtic were the highest placed side in action in the Girls 12 Premier and move to 3rd on their own as they had to settle for a point in their draw with Iveragh United. Their goals came from Emma Nolan and an og while Katie Foster got both for Iveragh United. MEK Starz and Fenit played out a cracking 3-3 draw with the Mid and East Kerry side coming from 3-1 down at half time. Elisha Deady, Miah Carmody and Eva Nolan got the goals for Fenit with Ellen Moriarty, Izzy McGrath and Anne Shaughnessy replying for MEK. Leaders Killorglin win in 13 Premier Leaders Killorglin have moved 6 points clear at the top of the Daly’s Supervalu 13 Premier but have now played two games more than the next two teams. Their latest win saw them defeat Listowel Celtic 5-3 with goals from Liam Hayes, Niall O’Brien, Stephen Gannon, Conor Hayes and Ryan Carey. Killarney Athletic moved up the table with a 3-0 win over Iveragh United. Castleialand unbeatable in 13 Division 1 Castleiland continue their unbeaten run – now at 9 wins from 9 in the Daly’s Suopervalu 13’s Division 1. They were too strong for Inter Kenmare at the weekend with Jack Joy, David Healy, Jack O’Donoghue and Mint O’Connor. Killarney Celtic B gained three valuable points in the battle for second as they won 5-1 away at Camp Juniors. Joe McCarthy got 2 with Oisin Fleming, Lucas and Vishniu scoring one each. Killarney Athletic have crucial gap at the top of 13 Division 2 South Killarney Athletic added three valuable points as they hone in on the 13 Division 2 South title. These came from a 4-0 win over Mastergeeha following a hat trick from Daire Kingston and one from Liam Hennigan. Killarney Celtic go 4 from 4 in Girls 14 Premier Goals in either half from Katie Doe against Listowel Celtic gave League leaders Killarney Celtic Green their 4th win from 4 games as they top the Division. Inter Kenmare had goals from Maja Garstecka, Chloe Cremin, Grace Foley 2 and Eabha O’Connor in their 5-0 win over Castleisland for whom Erin O’Connor was the best player on the day. Celtic 14’s go second in mid-week: Killarney Celtic got the week off to a winning start with a 3-2 home victory over Inter Kenmare in the Quills Woollen Mills 14’s Premier. The goals came from Kelvin O’Sullivan, Eoin Crowley and Robbie Harnett from the penalty spot. The win moved them into joint second spot on the table with games in hand. Mastergeeha are in fourth but are now only a point behind Celtic and Park after their 5-0 home win over Killorglin at Kilbrean Park. The Mastergeeha goals came from a Jack Fogarty hat-trick and two from Eoin Kelly Killorglin continue to lead the way in 15 Premier A goal from Eoin Hassett early in the first half and one from Ciaran O’Sullivan after the break gave leaders Killorglin their 6th win from 6 as the defeated Killarney Athletic 2-0. The Park are in second place after their 7-1 win over Ballyhar but are still 5 points behind and with a game more played. The Park’s goals came from Cillian Murphy, Cianan Cooney, Sean O’Connor and Cian O’Neill with Hugh Walsh replying for Ballyhar. LB Rovers up to second in 15 Division 2 In the North Kerry derby LB Rovers took the three points in A 3-2 win at Listowel Celtic. Goals from Darragh Fitzpatrick, Padraig O’Connor and Kieran O’Carroll gave LB the win with Jack Carty and Sam Cooke replying for Listowel Celtic.
