Park progress in 13’s and Celtic in the 15’s:
Two goals from Sean O’Connor and one from Messiah Chirwah has put St Brendan’s Park one win away from the Last 32 Open Draw on the Skecher’s 13’s National Cup. Adam Owens replied for Killorglin.
Mastergeeha made the trip to Clare to take on Avenue United and were well in the game into the second half. However the home side got the vital goal to see Avenue through.
Killarney Athletic also went out a Clare side as they were beaten by Moneypoint 4-1. Hugh O’Maghley got the Athletic goal.
Celtic Through in 15’s: There was always going to be at least one Kerry side into the Last 32 and the Regional Competition of the 15’s National Cup. It was Killarney Celtic that progressed thanks to a 3-0 win away to Ballyhar. Cian O’Leary, Jack O’Connor and Joe Rudden got the Celtic goals.
Tralee Dynamos just go out: Tralee Dynamos put in a great effort in their game against Nenagh and scored 4 goals with Leo Gaxha 2 and Sean Kennedy and Derek O’Shea getting one each. However Nenagh were lethal up front and hit 6.
This means that Killarney Celtic are away to Nenagh in the quarter final of the new National Cup Regional Competition.
Listowel Celtic FC were very unlucky to go down 1-0 to Limerick FC. The North Kerry side were denied by some last ditch tackling and also hit the post.
Killorglin suffered the same fate as they lost away to Charleville where they did everything but put the ball in the net to equalise.
Listowel Celtic go joint top of 13 Premier:
Things are very tight at the top of the 13 Premier with Listowel Celtic joining Killorglin and The Park on 6 points. Celtic made it two wins from two thanks to 4 goals from Robert Stack, 3 from Kieran O’Carroll and one each from Josh Brosnan and Chris McQuaid.
Liam Reilly and Andy Rogers replied for Dynamos.
Iveragh United lead the way in 13 Division 1:
Iveragh United continue to lead the way in the Daly’s Supervalu 13 Division 1 following a 5-0 win at home to Ballyhar. Breece O’Sullivan scored twice, Sean Kennedy and Ronan Teehan once each with the 5th goal being an own goal to move the South Kerry side onto 10 points.
Killarney Celtic are up to second place on 7 points and with a game in hand as they were 4-0 in the battle of the Celtic’s. The Killarney Hoops had goals from Callum O’Donoghue, Senan O’Leary, William Harty and Robert Brooks in their win over Listowel Celtic B.
Ballyheigue the Boys in 13 Division 2:
Ballyheigue are topping the 13 Division 1 table after their 8-2 win over Killorglin B. Feilim O’Sullivan had a good day hitting 4 goals, Dara Kearney got 2 goals with David O’Sullivan and Muiris Harty netting one each.
Killarney Celtic B dropped their first points in three games as they were held to a 3 all draw away to Inter Kenmare B. Mike McCarthy, Garry Wynne and Jack Sullivan got the goals for Celtic B with Billy Noonan, Aidan Crowley and Senan Gull netting for Inter.,
LB Rovers off the mark in 13Division 3:
LB Rovers (Lisselton / Ballybunion) will be delighted to get their first points of the season after 2 defeats. Jack Sheehy is the hero for the North Kerry side as he got the only goal in the win.
Park on top of 15 Premier:

St Brendan’s Park have moved to top of the Killarney Plaza 15 Premier thanks to two goals from Sean McGrath and Melvyn Shalemba and one from Nathal Gleeson in a 5-2 win over Day Rovers. Dylan Greaney and Colm O’hEartain scored for the West Kerry team.
Camp Junior’s jump to top of 15’s Division 1:
Camp Juniors 4-2 win over Mastergeeha saw them move to the top of the 15’s Division 1.Cian O’Grady got with Adam Costello and Maurice O’Connell getting the others to move them onto 7 points. Philip O’Leary hit two in the first half for the Kilbrean side to leave the sides level at the break but with Mastergeeha having played against a strong wind. However they never got the same intensity going in the second half and Camp juniors were worthy winners getting the only goal of the second half.
The Park B played twice this week scoring 7 goals but they also conceded 7! In mid-week the Tralee side drew 4-4 with Killorglin. Conor O’Sullivan and TJ McMahon both scored twice. For Killorglin it was Kaiya O’Herlihy and Stephen Loughlin that also scored two each.
On Saturday it was a 3-3 draw with Ballyheigue. Liam Tobin, Robert Kerins and Elliot Lynch were the scorers on this occasion for the Park with Conor O’Sullivan 2 and Nathan Guerin replying for Ballyheigue.
Joint Leaders of 15 Division 2:
Table toppers Rattoo Rovers were not in action this weekend and St Bernard’s took the full advantage join them at the top of the table. Mathew Burke and Jake Brosnan got two goals for St Bernard’s but goals from Dylan Clifford and Kasper Prusak got Celtic level.
But it was the Saints that took the win through Brosnan’s second of the day, a scorcher from 30yrds. They now join Rattoo Rovers at top of the table.
The Park C had 2 goals each from Thomas Cronin, Daniel Crowley and Sean Leary in their win over Inter Kenmare to give them their first points of the season.
