Two of the remaining three games in the Kerry Schoolboys Girls League were played this week with St Brendan’s Park being the big winners.

In the battle for second in the Foundation Sports 14 Premier the Park got the points they needed to finish runners up to Killarney Celtic. Killorglin had to beat the Tralee side in Christy Leahy Park to take the race to the last game of the season.

But goals from Sean McGrath 2, Mervyn Shalemba, Alfie Christie and Junior Bio saw The Park get what the needed to finish second in the table.

The Daly’s Supervalu 13 Premier went to a play-off after The Park beat Killarney Celtic in the final game of the season to see both sides finish level on 25 points.

And it was the Tralee side that carried the momentum into the Play-off at Celtic Park and they won 3-1 to be crowned Premier winners. Sean McGrath, Mervyn Shalemba and Conor O’Sullivan got the goals for the Park with Cian Dineen replying for Killarney Celtic.

One game remaining:

There is now only one game left in the season and it’s the Foundation Sports 14 Girls Premier Play-off. Killarney Celtic and Listowel Celtic finished level at the top of the table at the end of the regular season and they sided will meet in Dynamos on next Saturday June 13th to decide the final title of the 2014/15 season.
