Reports from opening weekend of Evens

Reports:
JK Sports 12 Premier:
Kingdom Boys and Listowel Celtic A made winning starts to the JK Sports 12 Premier defeating both the Killarney sides.
Goals from Leo Gaxha and Sean Kennedy gave Kingdom Boys a 2-0 win over Killarney Celtic A to open their season with a win. Listowel Celtic sent Killarney Athletic home from North Kerry without anything as a 3-0 win kept the points at Paddy Kennedy Park.
Patrick Scully, Sean McGrath and Kevin Goulding were the goal scorers.
12’s Division 1:
8 teams got their 2013/14’s Evens campaign underway with three homes sides notching up wins. Camp were too strong for Listowel Celtic B and had goals from Dave Smyth, David Costello, Jack Shannon, Cian O’Grady, Alan O’Leary, Eoghan Lyne and Conor O’Leary.
Killarney Celtic C’s win over Park B was much tighter with only 1 goal in it. It went to theKillarney side and it was Damien Switzer who scored it.
Mastergeeha’s Philip O’Leary was in unstoppable form in their win over Inter Kenmare. He hit 5 from his side’s 7 with Darragh Kennedy and Harry Lenihan getting the others.
For Inter Kenmare Daniel Crowley and Ciaran Crowley got 3 between them and Josh Fein the fourth but it wasn’t enough.
Daly’s Supervalu 13 Division 2:
In this midweek game Fenit made the trip into Tralee a winning one as they defeated Park B 2-1. Dara Heim and Cian Donnellan were on the mark for Fenit with Mark Dziedziuch replying for The Park.
Foundation Sports 14 Premier:
Castleisland and The Park had a cracking encounter in their opener with the Tralee side taking the spoils by the odd goal in 5. Robin McCarthy’s two goals and one from Mike Slattery were enough to give the Park the win. Dan Hickey’s strike coupled with an own goal wasn’t enough to get any points for their side.
Division 1:
Killarney Celtic’s C and B sides met in their opening match of the season. As expected the B’s came out on top but credit to the C’s who put it up to them and two goals from Alex Grezickz cancelled out strikes from Killian Deegan and Eamon Murphy. However a second from Murphy and a fourth from Jordan Lee wrapped up the points for the B’s.
Killarney Plaza 15 Premier:
Dillon Robinson showed that the summer off season didn’t dampen his goal scoring abilities as he opened his account with a hat trick in Kingdom Boys 4-2 win over Listowel Celtic. New signing Niall Downey got the fourth. Adam Cronin and Dan Power replied for The Park.
Tralee Trophy World 16 Division 1:
A Donagh O’Brien hat trick gave The Park B a 3-2 win and all three points in their opening League game against Inter Kenmare.
