Reports:

Moriarty’s Centra 11’s Group 1 to 4:

Starting with Group 1 and there were wins for Killarney Celtic A over Park A, Listowel Celtic A getting the better of Kingdom Boys and Killorglin A who defeated Killarney Athletic.

Killorglin B saw off Killarney Athletic and Listowel Celtic B got the better of Park B in Group 2

In Group 3 one game went ahead with Camp A getting the better of Ballyhar while the Group 4 winners were Killarney Celtic C, Asdee and Iveragh United over Behy Rovers, Park C and St Bernards respectively.

Daly’s Supervalu 13’s Premier:

Killarney Celtic have started 2012 as they left off last season with a win and are now 6 wins from 6 in the League and on 18 points. Patrick Warren, Eoin O’Carroll, Kasper Malinowski and Mark Harnett were all on the mark for The Hoops in their 4-0 win over Listowel Celtic A who remain on 9 points.

Mastergeeha remain in second place on 10 points, despite losing to Kingdom Boys. The Tralee side are a team to watch and are now unbeaten in their three league games to move onto 9 points thanks to a 4-0 win over Kingdom Boys and will have those above them looking over their shoulders. Dillon Robinson, Diarmuid O’Connor, Eddie Rogers and Rian O’Sullivan scored for Kingdom Boys.

Ballyhar’s 4-0 win over Fenit sees them climb to joint second in the table and also onto 10 points, with their scorers being Donnacha O’Sullivan, Jack O’Sullivan 2 and David Kenny.

13’s Division 1:

Leaders Castleisland were well beaten by second placed Killorglin on a game switched to the Dragon’s Den All Weather. Castleisland remain top of the table on 19 points but have played more games than those around them. Killorglin are onto 12 points and are undefeated in the League.  Aaron McCarthy and Kealon Cahill both scored twice with Dylan O’Sullivan, Conor Standen and Ian McGillicuddy all scoring once.

Iveragh and Camp finished 2 a piece with a Cillian Cronin score and an OG seeing the South Kerry side coming back from 2 -0 down.  The point apiece sees both sides stay in contention with Iveragh on 7 points and Camp two ahead on 9.

Castlemaine also came from 2-0 down and went one better than Iveragh winning 3-2. Patrick Kelliher got both goals for Asdee but one each from Garrett Prendiville and Cian Flynn either side of an Aaron O’Brien penalty gave Castlemaine all three points.

13’s Division 2:

With leaders Killarney Celtic’s game postponed Listowel Celtic B took full advantage to move onto 10 points and to within 3 of the leader. They were 6-1 winners over Park B with Jamie Lynch topping the scoring lists with a hat trick. Cian McCarthy, Darragh Behan and Brogan McDonnell all got one each.

Killarney Plaza 15’s Premier:

This is a very tight Division with three sides coming into play on 9 points. The Park A were too strong for Castleisland as expected and goals from Murrough Connolly, Dougie Fitzell, Calvin Foley, Sean Dukes and Padraig Griffin move them onto 12 points.

Something had to give in the clash of Killarney Athletic and Listowel Celtic who were the other two sides to begin the day on 9 points. And it’s the Killarney side who join Park at the top of the table thanks to a close 2-1 win. Ciaran Spillane and Michael Casey were on the mark for the Killarney boy with Aidan Quinn replying for Listowel Celtic.

Killarney Celtic kept themselves in contention and are onto 6 points as they defeated Killorglin A 3-0. Conor McCarthy, Mikey Moynihan and David Spillane were Celtic’s scorers.

15 Division 1:

This was the day’s busiest Division with 10 sides in action. Leaders Kingdom Boys  Ahad a tough battle with Mastergeeha but took the points from Kilbrean Park thanks to a 2-1 win. Aaron O’Keeffe and Seamus Looney were the scorers. Kingdom Boys have now taken 18 points from their 6 games and remain unbeaten.  Mastergeeha slip to third place remaining on 13 points.

Fenit overtake Mastergeeha and are only three points behind the leaders as they outscored Park B in a 6-4 goal fest. Cian McGarry, Ryan Dolan, David Egan, Jack McCarthy, Sean Higgins and Jimmy Shanahan all got onto the score sheet.

Camp in fourth are upto 13 points as they were too strong for Kingdom Boys B. Jack Nix hit two for the home side while five players all hitting one each – Jimmy Smith, Maurice Slattery, Jack O’Connor, Owen Curry and Brandon Boyle.

Ballyhar also added three points to their total with John McMahon scoring both in a 2-0 win while Listowel Celtic B and Killarney Celtic B drew 1-1. Jack O’Donoghue’s goal put Killarney Celtic ahead but the home side equalised.
