11’s Cup First Round:
With 10 teams having byes into the last 16 of the 11’s Cup 5 more joined them in the hat. The final place will be taken by either Inter Kenmare or Kingdom Boys B. Their fixture will be re-fixed after it was called off due to an unplayable pitch.
Killarney Celtic had A had goals from Ryan Grady, Alan Dineen and Eoin Dineen as they got past their club-mates on the Celtic B squad. The third Celtic team went out 2-0 after a good battle with cross town neighbours Killarney Athletic. Owen Benson and Simon Bartklewicz were the scorers for the blue side of Killarney.
Listowel Celtic and Bal;lyhar were involved in a cracking cup tie that looked to be heading for extra time. However Aoidan Sheehan had other ideas as he popped up with a last minute winner for the North Kerry side.
Camp A were too strong for Killorglin B and are into the hat thanks to goals from John Kennedy, Cian O’Grady, David Smith, Alan O’Leary and Jack Shanahan.
Kingdom Boys are also through the first round with Fenit bowing out.
13’s Cup First Round:
Five teams have joined the three that have gotten Byes into the Last 8 of the 13 Cup. Kingdom Boys beat their neighbours The Park 5-3 in a thriller. Mike Kelliher and Dillon Robinson both hit a brace for Kingdom Boys with Kevin Williams getting the other goal. Ruairi O’Kelly replied with 2 for The Park and Adam Ward got one but it wasn’t enough.
A Jack Farrell goal was enough to separate Camp and Killarney Celtic B with the home side going through.
There was no such disappointed for Killarney Celtic’s A side as goals from Ryan Kelliher 2, Lee Downing, Jack Hanrahan, Shane O’Sullivan and Dara Fleming was enough to get them past Mastergeeha.
Inter Kenmare are the other team in the hat as they went through at the expense of Behy Rovers.
15’s Cup:
Seven of the eight places in the quarter finals have been decided after this round with The Park booking their place thanks to a 5-2 win over Killarney Athletic A. Luke Moyinhan, Fergal Ryan, Gearoid Savage, Dylan McCarthy and Ferdia O’Brien all got one each for The Park while Athletic’s two goals came from Blake Bolster.
Ballyhar proved too strong for Athletic’s B side and are into the next round thanks to goals from Jack Griffin, Kieran Griffin, Tomas Buckey, Brandon O’Mahony who hit 4 and Liam Brosnan who scored twice.
Mastergeeha hit nine at home to Fenit who battled well even though it was Premier against Division 1. Paul O’Connor top scored for the Kilbrean boys netting 4, Dean Fitzgerald got 2 and Paudie O’Connor and Brian Friel one each. For Fenit Bobby O’Regan, Sean Donnellan and Jack McCarthy all got on the score sheet.
Killarney Celtic are top of the Premier and were too good for their Hoops namesakes and are through thanks to goals from Conor McCarthy 3, Gary Mathews 2, Dion Marcos, Adam Drew and Mikey Moynihan.
Killarney Celtic B also booked their place in the next round but were pushed all the way in North Kerry by Asdee B. Shane Healy and Niall Downey scored for the home side but to no avail as goals from Daniel Devlin, Stephen McCarthy, Diego Djarone and an og saw the Killarney side through.
Camp were 6-2 winners at home to Asdee A whose goal came from Cian O’Mahony while Kingdom Boys powered past Division 1’s Killorglin A. Segun Douyile, Stefan Okumbar, Sam Tarrant, Cian Liston and Finn Mellon were the Kingdom Boys goal getters.
Moriarty’s Centra Farranfore 11’s:
With a lot of team in Cup action there was only three games in the 11’s League. Amazingly the games finished on the same score-lines. In Group 1 it was Killorglin A 4-3 ParkA, group 2 saw Mastergeeha win at Listowel Celtic by the same score and in was also a seven goal thriller in Group 3 as Asdee overcame Castleisland.
Girls 12 Premier:
There were wins here for Killarney Athletic over Killarney Celtic B and Listowel Celtic who got the better of Killarney Celtic A.
For Killarney Athletic Ciara Randles had a day to remember netting 5 with Anna Hennigan netting twice.
Goals from Michelle Walsh, Rebecca Mason and Caoimhe Spillane saw Listowel Celtic take the points with Leah Burke replying for Killarney Celtic A.
