Reports:
Park into 12 Cup semi after cracker:
The Park have qualified for the John Murphy 12’s Cup semi-finals after a game with Iveragh United that went down to the wire. Darragh Cunnane for the Park and Oisin Breen for Iveragh traded goals in normal time and with no further scores in extra time it went to spot kicks.
The Park went 5 from 5 with Callum O’Sullivan, Ray McGrath, Odhran Ferris, Richie Healy and Obina Izahi all successful from the penalty spot. Sadly for Iveragh they missed one to see the Park going through.
Athletic win 13 Cup derby:
Klllarney Athletic were 3-0 winners over their cross town neighbours Celtic in the John Joe Naughton 13 Cup ¼ Final. With Celtic having won the Division 1 title the home side in Woodlawn were determined to stop them going a step further to a double and keep alive their very realistic hopes of a big Cup win. Roco Rejucav scored from the penalty spot after Alex Hennigan was taken down and then Hennigan himself made it 2-0 in the second half. With both sides really going for it Rejucav wrapped it up for Athletic with a perfectly struck free kick.
Mastergeeha are through to the Last 8 on a 3-0 score line over Listowel Celtic.
Killorglin C and Castleisland into 13’s Shield semi-finals:
Fenit had a 3-2 win over Listowel Celtic B to reach the Last 8 in mid week. Eddie McCarthy, Fiachra O’Connor and Paddy Falvey got the Fenit goals while Nikolai O’Callaghan and Charlie Donovan got the Listowel Celtic B goals.
However they went out at the weekend as it is Castleisland that are in the last 4 draw following a 4-0 win. Ryan Dennehy hit 3 and Alex Kapp one to see their side progress.
Killorglin C had a hat trick from Dara O’Connor and goals from Marc Murphy, Tim Mangan, Tony Og Duffy and John Burke as they got past MEK to book their place in the Last 4.
Killarney Celtic B progress in 14’s Shield:
Killarney Celtic are into the hat for the next round of the 14’s Shield as they defeated Dingle Bay Rovers 6-1. Ben O’Brien got the goal for the West Kerry boys.
Athletic take Last 4 spot in 15 Cup:
Killarney Athletic booked their Healy Family 15’s Cup semi-final after they just got past Ballyhar in a 7 goal thriller. Eoghan Mulvanney, Godwin Oseba, Owen Benson and Eoin Moynihan got the Athletic goals. Dylan Callaghan was unlucky that his hat trick didn’t at least force the game into extra time.
Sea siders go through:
In the Healy Family 15 Shield ¼ Final Ballyheighue were 4-1 winners over The Park D to go through to the semi-finals.
