Tucker Kelly Cup 16’s ¼ Finals
The semi final pairings of the Tucker Kelly 16’s Cup are now complete with Inter Kenmare and Killarney Athletic taking the last two spots.
Inter Kenmare defeated Fenit 2-1 thanks to goals from Fintan Kennedy and Killian Spillane and now will face Killarney Celtic away in the last four. Cian McGarry got one back for Fenit.
On the other side of the draw Killarney Athletic’s 3-0 win means they will travel to Killorglin with a place in the final at stake. Athletic’s goals in the semi final came from Danny Sheerin who got 2 with Danny Healy getting the other one.
There were two games in the 11’s Group 1 The Park and Killorglin getting wins over Kingdom Boys who were a little unlucky not to get something out of at least one of the games.
Daly’s Supervalu 13’s Premier:
Kingdom Boys were unbeaten in their four games prior to this week and had games in hand over the sides above them. With two games over the weekend it was going to be vital for the Tralee side to maintain their run and they did that to go joint top of the table with Killarney Celtic and remain unbeaten now after 6 League games.
On Friday night Kingdom Boys defeated neighbours The Park thanks to goals from Dillon Robinson and Diarmuid O’Connor who both scored twice with Odhran Lucey, Rian O’Sullivan and Dean Meehan all getting one each.
On Monday they put up the same score line this time against Killarney Athletic. Here it was Rian O’Sullivan and Kevin Williams who scored two goals each. Eddie Rogers, Dillon Robinson and Dara Devine got one each.
13’s Div 1:
Killorglin are getting closer to winning this Division and are now 6 points clear of Castleisland who do have a game in hand. However Killorglin with 25 points after nine games means they have only one left while Castleisland have 19 points with two games left meaning of course that a point from their last game will give Killorglin the title.
In their win over Camp Killorglin’s goals came from Conor Standen 3, Ian McGillicuddy 2 and one from Jonathan Kissane. Jimmy O’Grady and Brian Dowling replied for Camp.
13’s Div 2:
Listowel Celtic B need to win their last game to force a play-off with Killarney Celtic after they moved to within three points of The Hoops thanks to a 2-0 win away to Killorglin. Michael Kirby and Jamie Lynch scored for Listowel Celtic as they moved onto 16 points – 3 behind Killarney Celtic who have finished their campaign on 19 points.
O’Callaghan’s Coaches 14’s Premier:
Killarney Athletic and Fenit have struggled a little in the League and so both will probably be happy with a point a piece. For the home side David Naughton scored twice and Billy Courtney once while for Fenit it was Sean Higgins, Eoghan McElligott and Tom McCarthy who got themselves onto the score-sheet.
Killarney Plaza 15’s Premier:
The Park closed to within three points of the joint leaders Listowel Celtic and Killarney Athletic thanks to a 5-0 away to Killorglin. Shane Lowth, Padraig Griffin, Kyle Bustard, Jesse Stafford Lacey and Colm Foley all scored one each.
