Match Reports:

With the National Cup taking a break before next week’s Round 3 of the Even Ages followed by the Uneven Age’s on November 12th it was League action for the Uneven ages.

11’s:

In the 11’s Group 1 Killorglin A, Listowel Celtic A and Killarney Celtic A had wins over Park A, Killarney Athletic A and Kingdom Boys respectively

Killorglin and Park also met in Group 2 and this time the results were reversed with The Park taking the honours. Listowel Celtic B and Killarney Athletic B shared the points.

Group 3 was very tight with only one goal in seven separating Mastergeeha and Inter Kenmare with the Kilbrean side getting the win while Ballyhar and Fenit shared six goals.

In Group 4 Killarney Celtic C just got the better of Behy Rovers while The Park C also  just defeated St Bernard’s.

Daly’s Supervalu 13’s Premier:

Leaders Killarney Celtic made it three wins from three defeating Mastergeeha 5-0 thanks to goals from Mark Harnett, Cian Gammell, Chris O’Donoughue, Luke O’Donoghue and Eoin Carroll.

However they have only three points gap over three teams. Ballyhar were 2-0 winners to move onto six points thanks to goals from David Kenny and Jake Flynn. Listowel Celtic are also on the same mark thanks to an easier win over The Park. Two hat tricks from Darragh Goulding and Neilus Mackessy set them on their way with the other goals coming from Eoin O’Connor and James O’Connor. Kingdom Boys join the other two sides on 6 points as they defeated Fenit 5-1. Diarmuid O’Connor, Eddie Rodgers, Odhran Liston, Dillon Robinson and Darragh McKivergan were all on the mark for the Tralee Boys.

13’s Division 1:

Castlemaine and Asdee shared the points thanks to a 1-1 draw. Eoin Griffin scored for the home side while Niall Downing replied for Asdee Rovers.

13’s Division 2:

With leaders Killarney Celtic B not in action their neighbours Athletic joined them at the top of the table thanks to a 3-2 win over The Park B. Ruairi Kelly and Evan Lyons were on the mark for the Tralee side but goals from Jordanas Jonikaistas, Dan Nica and Gerry Vaughan gave Athletic all three points.

Killarney Plaza 15’s Premier:

Listowel Celtic and Killarney Athletic have opened a three point gap at the top of the table over Killorglin and Killarney Celtic.

Listowel Celtic were 6-2 winners over The Park in a game that was partly decided by the wind. It was 1-1 at half time but Listowel Celtic took over in the second period.  Chris Elbell hit 3 with Jack Foley, Darragh Sheehy and Jason Foley all getting one each.

Killarney Athletic are also on six points thanks to a 4-1 in the Killarney derby. Celtic’s goal came from Peter McCarthy but Creagh Courtney hit 2 and Adam O’Shea and Michael Casey one each to give Athletic the points.

15’s Div 1:

Mastergeeha are on 9 points from their three games and top this division. They defeated Mastergeeha 4-2 with goals coming from Oscar and Peter O’Connor, Darren Brosnan and Eoin McSweeney.

Kingdom Boys A had a very important win over Killarney Celtic B, who were joint leaders on six points at the start of play. Two goals from David Spillane and one from Nico Locko gave Celtic their three goals but 2 from Cian Liston and one each from Ger O’Connor and Aaron O’Keeffe gave the Tralee side their first three points.

Ballyhar moved onto 6 points and into second place thanks to their 4-2 win over Fenit. John McMahon scored twice for the winners with Conor Randall and Conal Murphy also on the mark. Cian McGarry got both Fenit goals.

The Park B will also be happy as they are on three points after picking up their first win of their campaign defeating Listowel Celtic 5-0. Dillon McCarthy got 3 and Tommy Lynch and Kian Carmody one each.
