Killarney Athletic B’s David Harnett, matched his younger brother Mark who plays for Celtic, with his debut goal for the Blues. Athletic defeated Listowel Celtic B 4-0 with the other goals coming from Ronan Brosnan and two from the excellent Michael Cronin.
Celtic B’s matched their cross town neighbours with a 4-0 win of their own over Killorglin B. Dan Cotter, Eamon Lavin, Hubert Bziebzic and Jack Galvin were all on the mark for the Hoops who top the table.

Under 15 Killarney Plaza Premier:
There’s only one Gary Breen was a song sung by Ireland’s fans for years. Castleisland will now re-write this to say We got two D Breens after the twins display against Kingdom Boys.
Damien Breen hit 5 with his brother managing only 3! Eoin Horan and Colm Murphy added two more in a 10-2 win. Jarred O’Sullivan hit both for Kingdom Boys.
No less an authority than Murt Murphy reckons Damien’s fourth goal was the best Schoolboys goal he has ever seen – and he has seen a lot!
Breen got the ball on the wing, came in along the by-line, looked up and lashed a rocket of the shot that almost took the keeper and the net into the next field.
In the game of the two unbeaten sides in the Premier Killarney Celtic’s Alan Moriarty was the hero as he got the only goal of the game in The Hoops 1-0 win over Park.
Listowel Celtic were too strong for a Dingle Bay side that will have better days. An Ian Murphy hat-trick plus a soccer writers nightmare – six individual scorers gave Listowel the points. The other goal scorers were Ricky Hanley, Michael Woods, Daniel Bardon, David Keane, Kevin Bowler and Sean Gilbert.
Division 1 has been reshaped into an A and B section with details still being confirmed. In Div 1A Clanamurice opened their account with a debut 5-2 win over Killarney Athletic who had Chris O’Meara and Evan Doherty on the mark.
2 goals from Patrick Clifford and one from Dean Cassidy saw Inter Kenmare overcome Killorglin 3-1.
In Div 1B Camp had an outstanding performance from Jonathan Deane who hit 8. Brandon Hoare got two more as they overcame Park B.
